The Mamelodi Project is partnering with Haitian-American artist, Charles Jean-Pierre, to promote a positive vision of HAITI. Jean-Pierre has already made a preliminary trip to Haiti, where he met with Haitian artists, distributed art supplies, and began work on his own documentary to showcase the realities of Haiti (NOT what we normally see on the TV).
The Mamelodi Project is proud to work with Jean-Pierre, who is an avid activist, a profound teacher, and an outstanding artist. We will support Jean-Pierre on his return trip to Haiti later this year and continue to provide venues and opportunities for him to give lectures on the realities of Haiti.
